–Discussing Future Capabilities and Cost-Effectiveness To Reach Space–
LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2015) – NovaWurks™ Inc., a provider of high technology space products and services, today announced that Talbot Jaeger, founder and chief technology officer at NovaWurks, will participate in the “Launching New Trajectories in Space” panel discussion at the DARPA Wait, What? A Future Technology Forum. Jaeger, along with other industry experts will discuss how new capabilities and creative cost curves are re-defining the possibilities in space.
Hosted by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the forum on future technologies is held in St. Louis, Mo. from Sept. 9-11. The forum is designed to help generate ideas that can stretch current conceptual horizons and accelerate the development of novel capabilities in the years and decades ahead. By fostering discussions amongst the top leaders in the industry, this forum allows for world-renowned thinkers and innovators to extend ideas further into the future. As an industry veteran and space entrepreneur, Jaeger will provide insight into how his company’s Hyper-Integrated Satlet (HISat™), a biologically inspired satlet technology, is radically changing the way space is approached and leading a complete satellite paradigm shift within the space industry.
“Based on cellular morphology, satellites of any size can be built with increased flexibility at drastically reduced costs,” said Jaeger. “This type of capability allows for endless possibilities in space – making this a fascinating time to be a part of this industry.”
NovaWurks provides space services for organizations to reach orbit using HISats, the company’s flagship technology platform. HISats are able to configure/aggregate to become a flexible and reliable spacecraft for a variety of mission purposes and provide a safe, rapid and cost-effective solution to reach space. The company is currently working on DARPA’s Phoenix Program, building satlet solutions for flexible, cost-effective satellite operations in GEO.
The “Launching New Trajectories in Space” panel discussion takes place on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 2:45 PM to 4:00 PM CT in room 223. To learn more about the Forum, visit: http://darpawaitwhat.com.
